#1300 Quality Assurance Analyst


The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst evaluates and tests new or modified software applications and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines. The QA Analyst writes, revises and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently.



• Conduct day-to-day testing of product updates and releases while creating QA deliverable documents such as test plans and post-production documentation;
• On a project basis, review requirements/specification documents and proactively seek additional information from the project manager, business analyst and developers in order to successfully execute test cases;
• Identify, investigate, report and track defects to closure in tracking software (Jira and TestRail);
• Assist in developing and executing test plans and scripts for new/enhanced products to ensure validity of results, accuracy, reliability and conformance to established standards;
• Work with the development team to determine the appropriate solution for addressing software anomalies or implementing improvements;
• Assist in providing Tier I Support for existing systems and applications.



• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field of study;
• At least 4 years of QA experience within an IT development team;
• At least 2 years of QA leadership experience preferred;
• At least 2 years of testing automation script development and maintenance;
• At least 2 years of Agile methodology experience;
• Strong background in software quality, test automation frameworks and testing methodologies;
• Experience of software test automation including scripting, debugging, execution, and analysis;
• Strong understanding of RESTful API and experience in Webservice testing;
• Experience with JAVA, Selenium and TestNG;
• Proficiency with SQL for data integrity ;
• Ability to utilize testing tools and develop custom tools as needed;
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Hudson) preferred;
• Experience with Source Code Management Tools (e.g., Git, TFS, RTC)
• Experience with Jira preferred;
• Complex, analytical problem-solving and issue resolution skills;
• Experience with web-based applications, user interface and back-end processing; Ability to work independently and proven understanding of user business applications;
• Demonstrated ability to manage workflow, deliverables and deadlines for multiple projects;
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
