About this Position:  The purpose of the IDM Administrator position is to…


  • Integrate new and existing applications for user authentication with single sign-on (SSO) technology
  • Plan, implement, support and maintain the enterprise single sign on solution
  • Monitor and tune production processes
  • Coach and mentor less senior SSO team members
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of all phases of the systems analysis activity

Outcomes & Activities:


  • Effectively work with internal IT support teams and other third-party vendors
  • Maintain standards, procedures and methodologies for effective operation, access and control of all single sign-on products
  • Provide support for issues related to IDM and IDM integration
  • Coordinate IDM security requirements with the IT Security Team
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor documentation relating to all IDM projects
  • Conduct and review tests of IDM systems to verify performance and quality standards
  • Assist in ensuring the integrity of IDM implementations and maintain related documentation
  • Communicates availability requirements for SSO accessibility
  • Assist in troubleshooting application authentication/authorization problems
  • Prepare time estimates for assigned projects
  • Assist in disaster recovery testing and execution as needed
  • Evaluate and apply security patches as required
  • Develop and innovate SSO solutions to add value and enhance the standard end user experience
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and make timely, well considered decisions
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Remain compliant with our policies, processes and legal guidelines
  • Attendance as required by department





  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology or closely related field of study or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience administering IDM/IAM Software
  • Thorough knowledge of LDAP and SAML standards
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
  • Experience in agent based, web based and federated authentication and authorization standards
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Able to handle several concurrent projects
  • Maintain a high-level of organization, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests
  • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency to accomplish tasks within deadlines and service level agreements
  • Experience working in a flexible and fast paced environment
  • The ability to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences as appropriate
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotational schedule
  • Work onsite at the assigned work location

  • Experience integrating IDM products with custom applications and third-party vendors
  • Knowledge of Kerberos, Active Directory, Linux and Networking
  • Experience with Forge Rock Identity Management platform
  • Experience building identity controls using Okta Identity and Access Management or another equivalent biometric compatible cloud platform
  • Knowledge of Azure AD and associated on premises and off premises technology
  • Working knowledge of Weblogic, Tomcat, and Apache based application servers relating to SSO
  • Working knowledge of LDAP and directory structures
