Data & Analytics/Geo Solutions Regional Manager REQ 1134
Responsibilities
  • Enable business development, customer service, and operational excellence, through the leadership and management of all data analytics and software development resources and efforts within the region.
  • Lead assigned projects and provide development and project management resources
  • Prioritizes projects, in conjunction with regional efforts to ensure consistent and dedicated resource allocation
  • All requests managed and prioritized within a single regional work queue
  • District data analytics and solution requests built for and deployed to the entire region
  • Solutions developed using approved tools, technologies and environments
  • Builds and executes reporting strategies, for key customers, in conjunction with the account management team
  • Organizes and prioritizes all customer needs and requests
  • Improves analytics and reporting usage across customers base
  • Develops new scalable analytics solutions and deploys to customer base
  • Implements standard IS Role Cards and provides ongoing career development and coaching
  • Organizes and assigns team members to projects and tasks with due dates
  • Measures each team members’ effectiveness and contribution; provides consistent and ongoing feedback
  • All projects are managed within PMA
  • Ensures PMA data quality and integrity
  • Establishes regional consensus on where time is spent
  • Elevates District requests to regional projects whenever possible
  • Project vetting and deployment include tight integration with Regional GBO team
  • Compiles and distributes a monthly performance dashboard (i.e., on-time completion, team allocation, project time data compliance, time from request to vetting complete)
  • Compiles and distributes bi-weekly project status and prioritization report
  • Provides quarterly recaps to the management team including ROI and next quarters’ goals & activities
  • Conducts ongoing training on data analysis tools (i.e., Excel, Power BI)
  • Conducts ongoing training on our reporting platforms and self-service tools (i.e., exp.o Business Intelligence, Excel Self-Service)
Qualifications
  • “Data & IS Consultant” minded versus traditional “IT Help Desk”
  • 4 Year College Degree
  • 5-7 years’ relevant IS experience
  • Able re-route requests that do not fit the mission and strategy of your team
  • Able to build influence through effective networking within your region
  • Able to lead a team and keep them highly engaged within the region and their host district
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to  deepen and widen our usage of data within each Product and Service
  • Demonstrates success in managing a technical project beginning-to-end
  • Experience leading a technical team desired (2+ years)
  • Experience leading and managing a small team (3-5 years)
  • Experienced with various business intelligence tools such as Inetsoft, Power BI, Oracle BI or Tableau
  • Some experience with development languages such as ASP.net, Java JavaScript, C# or VB
  • Some experience with various data science tools such as R, Python, SPSS or SAS
